In the Beginning is Victor Bregeda’s examination of the creative process. Victor portrays himself as a creative thinker rested atop the cosmic egg. This is where he succumbs to his creative thought and artistic expression.
The main action takes place on the flat plain at the top of the staircase. The breaking of the egg suggests the burst of ideas that is now coming to life. The contents of the egg begin to take shape as individuals making a path of their own.
Victor’s observation is dimmed by a veil of individualistic perception of reality.
