This painting was inspired by Victor’s visit to Sedona, Arizona, in the spring of 2006.
In the sky at the center of the painting, Victor shows an Indian spirit formed from the smoke of the peace pipe. To the right, we see another Indian spirit, in the form of the land. Around the peace pipe, representatives have gathered from different cultures of humanity. One man is shown balancing on the stem of the pipe signifying that maintaining peace is always a balancing act.
