Affectionate Rose is a special remake of Victor’s larger masterpiece Romancing the Rose. The exquisite flower is only where the story begins… Our Rose has a face. Can you find it?
The Rose is a beautiful woman who is flourishing from attention. The laboring men at the top right are working tirelessly to capture her heart. They will do anything for her consideration. Some have managed to get closer to her beauty, only to be denied by her guarded objections. The man with a ladder at the bottom is about to start his journey, unaware of the rejection of those who came before him.
The irony is that the Rose is longing for a romantic hero who can unlock her heart. The gentleman with a fresh bouquet on the left is different from everyone else. We can only speculate his words to her.
However, one thing is for sure, the Rose is starting to awake. Will this be the moment when she lets go of her fears and finally accepts love? Or, will she choose to turn away and remain forever as only a subject of man’s adoration? You decide…

Sharing is a painting that offers many moving parts. We notice a coo-coo clock has taken flight with the help of the multi-colored balloons. When we look closer, a woman becomes visible in its doorway. It would appear that the man in the water is attempting to gain access to her, even though she is out of reach.
Looking further, we notice two birds that appear to be locked in a gaze. It would appear the story is the same for them. The one bird is trapped by the clock’s restraints, while the other possesses freedom. Perhaps, the figure in the sky represents a certain longing by both the woman and caged bird for a life outside of the four walls. The somber male side may be presented by the figure in the water beneath the boat. He may be reflecting on what good is the freedom if you are unable to share it with the one you love?

Perception of Surrounding is a brilliant, surreal artwork that offers a unique look into the mind of our character. At first glance, we notice the clouds aligning with the trees, soaking up the rain in an effort to nourish their roots.
The woman stands at her easel surrounded by multiple clear, male figures-almost resembling the texture of rain. Perhaps, she longs for her “rain cloud” that will nourish her soul.

Unity is a painting that attempts to bridge the gap between a man and a woman- as it represents the ongoing battle of opposites. We focus on two vases of flowers separated by a large opening in the middle. The characters take note of the massive crevice with apparent concern. They wish to cross to the other side but are faced with obstacles. They must find a way to work together and join as one.
Upon closer review, we see a figure formed in the middle of the artwork. His presence is perhaps symbolizing the peaceful union of sides.

It is amazing what a little caffeine can do for our mood. In this fun painting, we see two bodies emerge from the drops of coffee spilling from the cup. We don’t even need to see their facial expressions to know these two are having a good time. It is apparent that they are definitely feeling the beat to the Coffee Dance.
I’ll have what they are having…

Hat Tip is being featured at the Museum of Russian Art in NJ.
Chivalry is no longer considered a thing of the past, as presented in this multidimensional painting.
Across the ages, tipping your hat has been a notable act of men to display their respect and gratitude towards others – especially when in pursuit of a woman. It is meant as a warm greeting and has proven to be a timeless act.
In this particular artwork, you will find two hidden faces-one much more concealed than the other. We see two men lifting their hats to mark their adoration of the beautiful woman and admiration of her suitor.
Can you find both of the faces?

In Hidden Beauty, Victor Bregeda blends two distinct and visual narratives into one powerful story. The painting opens up as a delightful landscape in the twilight of the approaching night. We get the perspective of a calm shoreline with distant boats, enjoying the peaceful tranquility of the moment. The stillness in the air coupled with the soothing colors of the sunset, evoke a longing to leap forward into this wondrous place.
The spirit of the painting revolves around the magnificent and unusual trees. The two sister-trees on the front dominate the picture by drawing attention away from the blissful panorama. The most evident clue to this mystery is suggested in the broken tree, to the left, shaped as a man’s face. Another hint comes from the three butterflies in the middle which project the essence of feminine presence. Another subtle discovery is a man’s face carved from the tree branches. Finally, the two big trees conceal a gorgeous woman. Her shapes are elusively translucent in the backdrop of nature. They open view into her inner-world, complemented by the beauty of her scenic surrounding.
Hidden Beauty is the combination of inner and outer womanly splendor presented through this pleasing perspective of both time and space.

Reunion is one of Victor Bregeda’s most visually impacting, romantic masterpieces. The male and female faces on opposite sides are separated by the rift of a great ravine. The crack in their relationship traces back to the original sin, represented by the sliced apple.
The knife serves a dual purpose. On one hand, it is the means by which the forbidden fruit was tasted, bringing the consequences of both pain and suffering. On the other hand, the knife is a bridge that makes a connection of the two severed halves that were meant to remain whole.
Victor makes his grand finale with the two critically important clues; the united couple that is walking at a distance and the face of God who is orchestrating their reunion.
In the end, Reunion is a peaceful reconciliation between a man and a woman, a perfect harmony of God’s most sophisticated creation.
