Lamb of God is a powerful painting that displays a portrait of Jesus Christ. Upon further review, we notice the three crosses present in the distance. An angel is present alongside Him.
Isaiah prophesied that Jesus Christ would be sacrificed as the Passover Lamb of God.
Prophesied: “He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter…” (Isa. 53:7).
“For Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us” (I Cor. 5:7). “Knowing that you were not redeemed by corruptible things … but by the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; Who truly was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but was manifested in these last times for your sakes” (I Pet. 1:18-20).

An apostle (Greek apóstolos) is the “one who is sent away” or a messenger and ambassador. Christians in the 1st century brought God’s message to the world. The same mission applies to Jesus’s followers of today.
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. – 2 Corinthians 5:20
This painting also touches on interpretation of the Gospel. For ages people have scrutinized pages of the Scripture and have debated different views. What many of them have failed to understand is the simple message of love and redemption.

Communion is a sacred ritual in the Christian tradition. It is a practice that is to be observed time and again throughout the life of a believer. It is a holy time of worship when we come together as one body to remember and celebrate what Christ did for us.
In observing Communion, we are remembering Christ and all that He has done for us in his life, death and resurrection: And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24.
In this artwork, Victor presents all of the common elements that are found in this ongoing tradition. Notice the followers of Christ that are formed from the pouring of the wine. This image further outlines the joining of individuals through the blood of Christ.

Sacrifice by Victor Bregeda has been recently featured at the Museum of Russian Art in NJ.
Christ is our Savior and the ultimate sacrifice for sin. Even though He was divine, Jesus became a human being to suffer and die for the sins of mankind (Philippians 2:5-7; Hebrews:2:9 )
This is one of Victor’s most breathtaking paintings. This vivid artwork displays Jesus Christ and his sacrificial love for us. It proves to be a very emotional work that represents his devotion to mankind.
Victor has channeled a beautiful portrait of our savior. He has placed the bread and wine beneath him as symbols of the body and blood of Christ.
Christ as our Savior gave His life that we might live. He died a horrible death, as our Passover that we might understand the magnitude of sin and the monumental significance of His sacrifice, which was made for every human being. He was “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world”(John:1:29; Revelation:5:6)

Last Supper was recently on display at the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, TX. Over the years, Victor Bregeda created many profound depictions of faith. This artwork stands out as one of the most astonishing portrayals of contemporary Christian symbolism.
The painting is centered on the Communion table. The twelve disciples are pictured as vessels, the ancient amphoras that are soon to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Their broken handles and leaning positions symbolize the imperfect nature of men. Jesus is notably absent from the table. Instead, His presence is much bigger.
In the background, Bregeda opens up another dramatic scene that is filled with the host of countless heavenly creatures as described in Revelation 5:11 – “Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.”
In a dramatic fashion, the angels form a pattern that reveals the image of the Savior. Christ is ever-present, not only with His disciples, but with anyone who is willing to follow Him.
The vivid storyline is further amplified by stunning colors and the incredible amount of detail.

Holy Scripture is currently on display at the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, TX. This artwork continues the remarkable tradition of Victor Bregeda’s paintings inspired by Christian faith. This time, Victor takes the focus off Communion and puts his emphasis on the Bible.
The classic Bregeda composition remains the same. The majestic candle rests on the Holy Book while the image of Jesus appears in the flame. The figures of the apostles emerge from the molten wax and surround the Savior.
A man in a robe is standing before the candle. Perhaps, he is a mere follower of Jesus, or a teacher, or even a scribe. Bregeda leaves the story open-ended.
As the man reads and prays, the New Testament text comes to life. The radiance of Christ creates the impression of a strong, spiritual connection.
As always, Victor is presenting us underlying clues. The book cover is showing its age, suggesting the longevity of the Christian message. The ladders point to spiritual growth. The bookmark plays a special role; it links the still life arrangement with the action scene of the man reading the Scripture and standing upon its foundation.

Victor Bregeda has always viewed his artistic ability as a gift from God. Over the years, Bregeda has portrayed many subjects symbolizing his Christian faith. Divine Palette, along with, Bregada’s painting, Creation, comes as close as it gets to seeing the divine artistic connection.
Divine Palette depicts the birth of humankind – all races and colors. Each are uniquely created but conform to the same image of their Creator. It is impossible to understand how human life is conceived. All we witness is how harmonious and miraculous it is. People are born to carry out their lives – each one being a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Bregeda infers that a painter’s palette is a means to produce inventive work that is analogous to God’s process of shaping and molding His creation. Each heavenly tube of paint devises a unique personality. The next step is the blending of colors reflecting a man and a woman coming together and giving birth to another distinct personality.
Divine Palette is a representation of God’s creative magic, the birth of human lives and the unveiling of human talents, left to follow in the footsteps of their Creator.

Leaving Eden is currently on display at the Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, TX.
This artwork captures one of the most somber moments of humanity – the departure of Adam and Eve from the Garden. The forbidden fruit of knowledge has been tasted. The serpent has played his gruesome part and the union with God has been severed.
The silver plate defines the borders of the perfect world, full of life and colors. Regrettably, Adam and Eve have to step down towards their new, now broken existence. The land beyond the plate is barren and points to the grim reality that faces them.
The face of the Lord can be seen in the cloud. He is letting His creation live through the consequences of their choices.
